In fighting games the only difference between the boys and girls is that the girls have chests and their clothes are more revealing. The girl characters seem to be created to entertain boys when they play female characters instead of being realistic and making girls want to play the female characters. In other games the girls are portrayed as being weaker and are all dressed up in pink and frills. They are also used as the damsel in distress that must be saved by the big strong male character. There needs to be more realistic looking characters who could actually exist in real life and they should be dressed in clothes that would be acceptable to be worn out in public. Also the way current video games are controlled and the consul that they are played on has a major role in the feel of the game, so it is very important to make sure a game is programmed for the consul that would support the game best. There are a lot of games out there, but a lot of them seem to repeat themes, so there are still a lot of untapped areas that can still be explored.
